This website attempts to highlight some of the major issues confronting the Christian church at large. Throughout history the church has been fraught with error from within and assaults from without and all these factors have shaped and formed the church as we know it today.

The information contained in the site is in some cases unique to Prophetic Alert, but we also borrow from other sources* to try and present an objective picture of the effects of heresy, false teaching, paganism, syncretism and idolatry on contemporary Christianity. The information is dealt with from a global perspective and attempts to link important subjects concerning the end time church and end-time world events. Further attempts have been made to interpret Biblical Prophesy in light of current world events.

We believe that, according to our interpretation and understanding of the Bible, we are entering the period commonly referred to as the 'end-times' in Scripture (i.e. the end of this age as we know it), and believe that the Church has to be alerted to the major deception within its midst. We also attempt to deal with Biblical warnings concerning the future of humanity on planet earth.

The Bible warns us that 'People perish for lack of knowledge' and it is in this context that we highlight what we consider to be the main issues facing Christians and the Church at large. Some of the issues raised may be seen to be contentious. It is our opinion that this is unavoidable due to the subject matter under discussion. The good news of Salvation has always been contentious and provocative despite the fact that the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ is still 'good news to those who are perishing'. Jesus himself said that he has come not only to give us life as a free gift but an abundant life. God the Father has always only had one thing in mind - to reconcile his creation to Himself and display his love and mercy to sinners such as we are and rescue us from an eternity outside His Almighty presence and glory.

We do not wish to offend any particular denomination for the sake of it. The position we have taken is that of making the inspired Word of God (i.e. the Bible) our main point of reference. We believe that the Bible interprets itself and can stand alone as a point of reference and source of infallible and eternal truth.
